The Design Phase consists largely of the provision of both verbal and written descriptions of CAP-Ex and its potential benefits to the company and its designated executive(s). Services typically include, but are not limited to:

  1. Informational presentations through a variety of media including web-based meetings.
  2. Preliminary financial analyses illustrating the potential impact of CAP-EX for both the employer and the executive.
  3. Initial consultation and review with employer and executive counsel.
  4. Individual meetings with designated executives to discuss the individual benefits of participation.
  5. Board level presentations and meetings.
  6. Carrier and product selection and analysis.

The Design Phase typically culminates with the client company going through a due diligence process. The CAP-Ex Group, along with its counsel, works with the client company to provide the necessary descriptive information, including the legal memorandum, document samples, custom illustrations, and other applicable information needed to make such a decision. Additionally, The CAP-Ex Group, along with its counsel, as applicable, agrees to work cooperatively with company counsel, internal advisers, and external advisers, as necessary, to address questions and comments concerning the CAP-EX process.
